Tower Creek above the falls a couple of weeks ago. All winter I visit the park, turning east at Tower Junction where there has for many months been a "road closed" sign heading south to Tower and over Dunraven. I happened to notice an otherwise identical looking sign there that now says, "Road closed 2.5 miles" meaning, it was open as far as the store. I wandered up the road, what a treat to see that crazy parking lot nearly empty. The store (and restrooms, alas) were closed, but being provisioned while a few people were heading down to view the falls from the overlook.
