We were there from August 6 through the 10th. It was hazy during our entire trip. Missed my usual view of the Tetons accompanying me from Blackfoot, ID up through Island Park as they were completely obscured by the haze. I hope that it's better for you. I guess it just depends on the number of fires in the west as well as precipitation and wind direction.
