Are you talking about hiking trails in the interior, i.e., the part of the park that's closed to personal vehicles in winter? Things are different this winter because interior lodging is closed, but in normal winters, if you stay at Old Faithful Snow Lodge and Cabins (you get in by snowmobile or snowcoach), you can ski or snow shoe along many trails and along the road.
You can also ski or snow shoe in from the gated entrances.
