...and Turquoise and Opal Pools - all in fine fettle I'm happy to report - on the road side of the river I walked south from the pedestrian bridge about 100 yards to get a better look at the runoff, gleaming in the early morning sunshine and looking primeval as overflow from the thermal features above it tumbled down into the Firehole River.
