I nearly always check months ahead on Travelocity for both flights and car rentals. Sign up for their Deal Alerts. When the price comes down $25, they will alert you. I have gotten some great prices doing this. I also check car rental prices at Hotwire.com and usually book through them. They always seem to have the best car rental prices. Enjoy your trip.
