This is getting more complicated by the day...it's a good thing I like to plan trips!
Thanks for the reminder about unlimited miles...since we don't rent cars I was not thinking about that.
Even though this trip will be a gift for our son and his family my daughter-in-law will be making the flight and car reservations. She likes to find "deals"....sometimes that works, and sometimes not. I guess I will need to lay out some strong guidelines for her, and start nagging her to start working on this NOW. I'm going to insist that she book through the official airline and car rental sites...hopefully she will comply without too much argument.
My idea is for them to fly from Indy to Bozeman, staying in Silver Gate for 2 nights. Then move down to Lake for 2 nights, and then for them to stay one night in the Jackson area (without us) before flying home. 5 nights is not a lot, but it probably will be more than enough for Harrison's first trip. Now I just need to get it done.
So...are you planning on coming to Indy to visit the Eiteljorg Museum again (or the IMA)? If you do let me know...I have passes that I'm allowed to share!
