I really appreciate your in depth answers. I've printed them off for Art to read, along with the Junior Ranger packet from the NPS site. We'll probably have a few more questions after reading things through more carefully, but at least we now have some hope that we can work this out.

Harrison will have no issue with any verbal grilling...he loves to talk, and retains things fairly well. Our Eiteljorg Museum of Western and Indian Art does a holiday exhibit that involves vintage trains traveling through the western National Parks. Of course Yellowstone is included, with a replica of Old Faithful which "erupts" every 7 minutes. He took it upon himself to welcome befuddled members of the public to Yellowstone (much to the amusement of the official guides), and offered his "geyser prediction", along with his facts about how geysers work. Of course I don't think the rangers in YNP would accept the baking soda and vinegar concept from the museum... The problems will arise with anything he has to read, write, or draw...right now he is quite a ways behind in all those areas.

Art is already here with questions for me, so I would bet I'll be back later this weekend! Thanks again for taking your time to help..
