So I headed just a little way up the trail past the inlet that goes to Buck and Shrimp Lakes. I tried to capture the enormity of this fallen snag up there. Don't think the picture gives a good impression of how tall it used to be when it was an upright living tree. But it is so full of the feeling of Yellowstone I'm posting it here in case you feel it too :-)
