thanks for the responses. We don't mind staying out of the park as long as it is a close enough drive. We have stayed in Silver Gate and Cooke City both during the summer. Still don't know much about the day trips via snow coach. The one from Canyon sounds interesting. How is the best way to get photos of the falls in winter? Nice polar bear image.
