Banging ourselves up sometimes seems to be part of the whole vacation experience. I remember a few years back, pulling into the Grizzly Overlook in Hayden Valley, getting out of the car and almost immediately having the Hayden pack come busting out of the trees chasing elk. I ran to the trunk to get the tripod and scope ASAP, and spent a great time viewing the wolves. The next day my wrist felt like it had been stepped on by a bison, man did it hurt. I ended up going to the clinic in Mammoth, where I was fitted with a brace for ligament damage. Oh yes, what we do for that chance to view or photograph those critters. By the way, I can still pull up a clear visual in my head of the action that day. I am sure you will also never forget, and just in case you do, you have some great pics to remember it. Thanks for sharing.
