We spent the rest of the day making our way to the Tetons. The bank sign said it was 94 degrees when we drove through Cody. Had to stop at DQ for a Blizzard!
We intended to camp at Jenny Lake to be near the TH for our next hike. Discovered that Jenny Lake is strictly tents ONLY. Even our van was not allowed. We made our way up to Shadow Mountain NF campground instead and selected a site with an awesome view of the Tetons.
Set up camp and made a quick dinner of the big salads we had picked up at WalMart earlier.
Lots of smoke made for a beautiful sunset.
