But it is frustrating. Apparently I need more time to acclimate to the altitude than we usually have for our whole vacation. NOT gonna work that way! I was diagnosed with asthma at one point but since I've lost a bunch of wt. and gotten in better shape, I don't even use an inhaler any more. Maybe my lungs are still a bit less than "normal" though. And you're right about the smoke, it was pretty thick. Oh well, I have to accept the fact that I'm not a climber and just enjoy doing what I CAN do!
