Making use of the bridge over the Yellowstone east of Tower Junction - I've seen lots of critters use it, I'm sure it makes their lives much safer and easier.

But this little dude wasn't too happy about the couple of cars that stopped to watch, so he really picked up the pace to get past us and on his way east.

Pretty animal - we usually see about 1 fox a year now-a-days. 2006 was the first time I ever saw a wild fox (Yellowstone, or anywhere for that matter), though I've been going to the park regularly since the early 1990s. Sometimes I wonder if the arrival of wolves re-arranged the overall "canid spaces" such that they are more successful now, perhaps coyotes get enough leftovers from the wolves that they represent less competition for the foxes?
