Hi, Rick! I have enjoyed your trip reports too!

Have stayed at Wilson's Riverside several times...it's old, some rooms are dinky, and the micro-kitchen equipment (microwave and small refridgerator)can be in odd locations...very forties and fifties ambiance...beds can be variable. But I really like the back-forty rooms in the back of the motel...larger, and there's a terrace with stone wall overlooking the Yellowstone just downstream from the confluence with the Gardner River, with amazing views up the valley. But it was always reasonable. There are newer rooms in the two story wing, but I've never been in those.

For niceness, I like the Absaroka, just across the river. Large kitchens, good beds, nice hosts, big rooms. Great Balconies!
