Also at the end of June activity at Graceful geyser began again. It blew out its vent in the 80's, but experts on scene assured us that this activity was coming from the same vent... but hardly Graceful! It was powerful bursting play like a mini-Grand!

The last time I saw staff at Norris, they said it has quieted down so I feel very lucky to have seen it.

Sometimes people say "Oh you are sooo lucky at Norris!" I reply --- you don't see anything if you are not there. Stop by, you never know what will happen!
