I enjoyed a couple of days at Big Moose Resort. The cabin was large, extremely well heated, clean, nice owners, but not fancy. I don't remember what it cost, might be a little more than Silver Gate. And as pleasant as it was I would in no way shape or form call it a "resort" ;-)

It's not close enough to town to stroll to the Bearclaw Bakery for breakfast, either. But it is at the base of the Beartooth and Chief Joseph Highways, which are most certainly worth exploring.
