Great photos! I cant wait to see the thermal features in the winter. I will take any opportunity I can to take advantage of the stops. How flexible is the driver/guide in the snowcoach regarding stopping along the way? Is Grand Prizmatic accessible in winter, if so, how are the colors affected by the cold?

I almost forgot about the ice. Thanks for the reminder. How easy are the trekkers to to put on and take off?

I wore something similar on a glacier hike, but they were much larger.

Regarding photography, I have an Olympus TG6 that is supposedly rated to 14 degrees F and a stack of spare batteries. I know that the batteries don't do well in cold weather. I also have an abundance of hand warmers. How do you cope with battery life and the cold?
