The breath-taking view across Willow Flats encompasses most of the major peaks in the Teton Range, as well as Jackson Lake and the Snake River, made more exciting by the often-unseen presence, deep in those willows and in and along the shores of the waterways, of moose, elk, grizzly bears (including, quite often, 399 and her family), wolves, coyotes, foxes, otters and beavers in the water, many different lords of the sky like bald eagles, great blue herons, and ospreys.
