the roads are laid out in a figure 8, so in general, I'd concentrate on the lower loop while at OF, then the upper loop once you get to Canyon. However, I did say "in general" and would discourage a strict adherence to that concept.
Do 1 or 2 geyser basins per day.
Go to Hayden and Lamar more than once.
The entrance roads beyond the 2 loops are also quite nice. My favorites are the east and northeast entrances, but there is something to see on all of them.
