Have you checked that Roosevelt is open by then? Could also affect whether the swimming hole is open in the Firehole yet. It doesn't open until the water level is low enough to be safe and when that is depends on how much snow there is and how late the melt is. You can find out when Roosevelt opens on the NPS Yellowstone site.
