...not with wildlife -- in my mind this would clearly fall under the definition of harassment and all the associated unpleasantness that might entail. (I'm also surprised I haven't heard of it being attempted previously already...)

On the other hand, I have discussed using such devices (actually a simple remote control helicopter with remote camera mount) to fly out over Ice Box Canyon and get some shots of the falls down there.
