So, looking at Google Earth, I see a few trails from Bear Creek that would bring you up to "Above the Rest" (which I found from another map). Above the Rest looks like a little community with maybe a dozen families living up there. The terrain is open space, (not treed). Hopefully, we would be entering a friendly community. Hope that new trail is well marked. From Bear Creek, looks like about one mile via these trails with a 500 foot elevation climb.
