to have spent our last evening in the park.

As we headed back to Canyon, Mort and Steve decided they were a "bit hungry". I swear, they are ALWAYS a bit hungry. Mort had a hankering for cheeseburge. Steve said the Canyon Lodge has pretty good bison burgers. Soooooo, we walk into the lodge just before 9 to a line of other people who are "a bit hungry". Long story short, after a bit of a wait, they got their bison burgers and I had a glass of wine. Rob took a short break from work to come over and chat.

We said good-bye to Steve and Rob. Since Steve's contract had ended a week or so before, he no longer had a place to stay. He became a "squatter" in the room that he and Rob had shared all season for a couple of nights until Rob was finished and they headed home.
