Friday, August 17. Woke up around 6 a.m., put the top down on the van and hit the road heading toward the East Entrance - or exit :-(

We had never stopped at Pahaska TeePee before, so we stopped and had breakfast. It was very good!

Hit I-90 by about 1 p.m. Is that the official end of vacation, when you hit the interstate again? Or does vacation end in the driveway at home? Who knows?

Thought we'd pull an all-nighter, taking turns sleeping. After a late dinner at Al's Oasis, we realized that the all-nighter just wasn't going to happen. Pulled into a Hampton Inn in Mitchell, SD for the rest of the night.

Woke up Sat. morning to thunder and rain. Hadn't seen much rain for our entire vacation. Made it home to Grand Rapids later Sat. night.

Thanks for coming along and I apologize if I overloaded any of you with photos. I tried to pare them down...it's just so hard to do!

Time to start planning for Aug. 2013!!!
