Kurt Repanshek has written another great article about the next step for Yellowstone Forever - a new CEO. The person is not named but is said to have fundraising experience and is familiar with Yellowstone.

The most interesting reading in the article is about Cam Sholly's agonizing over whether to sever the relationship between YF and NPS as the official fundraising partner and his thinking about how best to get the Institute back running again.

Clearly Sholly has been putting a lot of thought and work into helping to clear this train wreck. I understand his logic in keeping the relationship since if YF went into bankruptcy all of the Institute facilities and equipment would be sold.

George Bumann had some choice things to say about the Board members that caused things to get out of control. I agree that ALL of those folks need to be gone.

Just got another begging letter from YF. I will wait and see whether the new CEO cleans house and starts to put the organization back on track, along with a forensic accounting review.

I have some optimism at this point but won't write a check until I see some things happening, like a totally new board, that indicate movement towards transparency and accountability.
