We said good-bye to Rob when it was time for him to head back to work. Mort, Steve and I drove over to Great Fountain. Steve had never seen an eruption there before and we thought we'd have a pretty good chance of getting there at a good time. The window was 4:30 - 9:30 and we'd be getting there around 6:30.

Our timing was perfect. At about 7:10...."WHOOMP!"
