Enjoy Yellowstone's unpolluted night sky. The Museum of the Rockies (Bozeman, Montana) has partnered with Yellowstone since 1999 to offer this educational program series. Enjoy programs about astronomy, find constellations, hear stories, and view celestial objects through telescopes, weather permitting.

Description Find the Milky Way, planets, craters on the Moon, the center of the Galaxy, star clusters, and nebula.
Telescopes available.

Title What Color is Ultraviolet? Seeing the Sun from Space.
Description The Sun has captured the human imagination since the beginning of recorded history. However, it is only since the space age that we have "seen" our star in ultraviolet. Does the Sun look different in ultraviolet? What have we learned? Presented by Professor Charles Kankelborg, Ph.D. , Solar Physics Montana State University.
