My toe wasn't doing so well. I'd washed the grit out of my knee at Dornan's lady's room, and it turned out fine. It never even hurt. The toe was another story altogether.
It refused to go into a hiking shoe. It barely fit into another pair of close-toed but roomy shoes I had along, so at least I could keep my feet warm as needed.
It turned slightly purple, but didn't swell noticeably at first. Everything was fine as long as nobody touched it and I didn't cram it into a serious shoe. Crappy photo taken in the laundry room at Signal Mountain. Barely purple, like I said, and not much bigger than the one on the other foot either. (beat up pedicure though!)
