We headed back to Yellowstone. Stopped briefly at the Upper Geyser Basin to check predictions for Grand, Castle, Great Fountain, etc. We had told Rob we'd be back at Canyon in time to cook dinner on his break from work, so we couldn't hang out and wait for geysers. Maybe the first trip to YNP ever where we haven't seen Old Faithful even once!

Checked in to Canyon site #A-29 at about 2:00. Walked down to the cafe to find Rob. He was working a split shift and had a break from 2:30-5:00, so we headed back up to camp and cooked up some Texas BBQ chicken and some dutch oven sweet potatoes.

This is the camp chef hard at work :-)
