I've just about run out of themes, incidents, and events (at least those I can illustrate with pics), but I wanted to share a few more images and comments that I hope you'll enjoy if nothing else as reminders of familiar sights and something to comment on.

And, I hope when I'm at last done, others will proceed to step in and overwhelm the page with their stories, knowledge, pictures, and adventure reports too!

Starting down at the Tetons: Cattleman's bridge, behind Oxbow Bend of the Snake River...we always love to explore back there and quite often see moose and other wildlife, but many years in June the road is closed because of nesting bald eagles. This year, no barricade - I don't know what that implies for the eagles. They must not have nested there, as mid-June would have been too early for them to be finished. I hope it just means they took up housekeeping elsewhere.

I remember the old bridge from years ago, and having once stood on it watching little brown otter heads turning around to look at us as they floated by below. Then one early summer, it was gone, with no trace it had ever existed - remarkable landscape restoration.

I believe this sign is new; the narrative is interesting but this I DO find intrusive as that area, though it receives a regular small stream of visitors, is a little sanctuary of quiet nature-watching for me.
