This mature moose bull and his younger pal (guessing this is Junior's first fall after separating from his mother) were hanging close together at Petrified Tree. I feel sorry for Junior, who, within a matter of weeks of when this was taken, will be shocked to find himself rudely rejected by his older mentor in favor of female cows when "rut hits the fan." All part of growing up, I guess!
