Is this hike a good idea?

So, I'd like your comments on this potential hike:

Next June, we start at the Blacktail Creek parking lot and hike down to the Yellowstone River bridge crossing. Follow the trail (it's called a pack trail) all the way to Gardiner (where we would have a second car). We'd stop to fish any fishable eddies on the Yellowstone (we did find some fishable spots in June this year up towards Garnet Hill).

I've been as far as Crevice Creek on this hike and so I know about the Crevice Creek bridge as well as the significant rattlesnake dangers.

So, it this hike interesting, scenic and safe?

Are there any private land (no tresspassing) crossings as you approach Gardiner?

My best guess is that it's around 12 miles... does that seem accurate?

With leaving at dawn, 12 miles and mostly downhill... it seems doeable with times for fishing snd then a stop for Helen's Hellaciuos Burgers (do they still make those?).

Thanks

Thanks
