Thank you for changing your terminology, I have no problem with heartless killer, it fits the situation.

No, I will not back off anymore than you will, I am highly involved in wildlife issues and work with FWP all the time, including teaching their personal about safe use and awareness concerning grizzly bears.

I do it every day. I am also a hunter, not a wolf hunter, I hunt for dear and elk, but a hunter none the less. In the hunting community the term poacher means one thing, criminal.

It always amazes me, when an event of this nature happens and the BS that gets thrown around, then when someone who steps in that has a more rational opinion of the situation, they are told to back off, which as I said, I will not do.

There is a reason, that hunters identities are no longer disclosed, because of the illegal actions of wolf supporters when the first wolf was killed in Idaho a couple of years ago, that is the reason laws were passed. I don't believe you would threaten anyone TeeJay.

I didn't once say I am in support of how this came about, but I am saying the wolf was not in Yellowstone, there is a legal hunting season going on, in addition, many biologists knowledgeable in the wolf arena have come up with another reason the collared wolves are being shot. Many believe the hunters are going for the largest animals, which off course are the alphas, because that is what the biologists are collaring, the alphas.

But no one wants to take into consideration that there may actually be a different motive for shooting collared animals.

I have been involved in the wildlife business for a long time now, I was there when the wolves were originally released into the park, I have no malice at all for the wolves, but I also have not elevated them to any higher status than other wildlife. They are simply another cog in the wheel called nature.

But again, when it concerns misinformation I will not back off. There are many of us that have far different opinions than you and others.
