Ok...so Art and I have made our plans for next June, starting with 3 days in Jackson, 7 in Silver Gate, and 2 at Lake. We are trying to arrange for our oldest grandson and his parents to meet us for a few of those days, which involves figuring out flights, rental car, etc., all of which are foreign to us. Has anyone flown into Bozeman and out of Jackson....if so, how did that work for you? Any issues with a rental car from one airport being left at the other? We're thinking of flying them into Bozeman, letting them have 2 nights in the north end of the park, then 2 in the south end If we could arrange a flight out of Jackson they would get to at least see the Tetons and save a full day of driving back to Bozeman, thus giving them more time in the parks. Any thoughts?

Also, regarding the junior ranger and junior scientist programs...I know they are well worth it, but.....our grandson, who will be 8, has some issues with reading and concentration. Do you think it would be best to wait with these programs until he is a bit older, or are most of the rangers involved patient with kids who are trying, but slow in "getting it"? He's already looking forward to hearing the mud pots...is walking around with his version of the noise they make (grumble blubber thud). Not sure where or how he came up with that, but that's his story, and he's sticking to it!

Thanks for any thoughts about this!
